I work from home full time. For whatever reason I’m 40 hours a week hourly with a 30 minute unpaid break daily, meaning I have to be on the clock for 8.5 hours. I have no idea why they have it set up like this and don’t have me salaried, especially since I’m supposed to be working 100% of my 7.5 hours (two paid 15’s) so I don’t even have time to check my email in the morning unless I clock in early, and I can’t finish anything unless I stay late, so every week all of the employees end up in OT. Which again could be taken care of easily with a salary. But they don’t want to give a salary, so fuck ‘em. I did the math and if I clock in the 7 minutes early they allow and stay 20 minutes late every day I’ll net $100 per paycheck for doing nothing. And they don’t notice because EVERYONE gets OT in every paycheck. So I’ll take my work free $2,600 a year and never look back
