Making a fake receipt

Had to call out of work the other and BSed car trouble to avoid issues (so I thought). Boss man wants a receipt to prove the car trouble was real. Any advice for creating a fake receipt for the boss? I need to keep a clean record with this job in order to spring board into a better position I’m pursuing
