The students in this town have a lot of behavioral problems, it is pretty low income, and it is taking so much out of me. I have 2 8th grade classes, 1 senior class, and 3 classes of mixed high school years. I am only here for a 3 week coverage but I’ve gotten to know each student individually and I’ve gotten the classes to progess so much while the teacher is out and ensured that they come back to order. I just submitted my PhD so I am in a limbo period looking for work and I thought subbing would be a good option for the time being. I would make double babysitting my neighbor’s toddler.
