I work at a breakfast chain. The police for requesting off is to request off 2 weeks in advance. I requested off a MONTH in advance to attend my grandmothers funeral (we’ll be spreading her ashes as well.) I spoke with my manager today about my request off because I haven’t heard back. Here’s the conversation
Me: Hi Ms, Manger. I’m a little confused
from the conversation we had earlier about the days I requested off for.
Back in September I requested off for October 21-24th. Is that request being approved or denied?
Manger: Denied
I am 100% planning on quitting- and quitting today. What should I say in response/say other than “I quit.”
