manager faking WFH

Hi, My manager (retail) has over the past months been out of town weeks at a time on vacation while not logging off. He has been “working from home”, when actually every time he has been doing the bare minimum and has been hard to reach. Don't get me wrong – I 100% believe in WFH. This is part of why this is bothering me so much. But this is a brick-and-mortar space (we sell tools) and you can't work the floor from home. He's been claiming he's been doing background work etc but guess who's been doing inventory etc… Yeah, not him. The actual owner of the store is some dude who's never around. My manager makes twice what all the other employees make. When I couldn't come in because my car broke down, I didn't get paid. Same when I took a day off for my nephew's recital.…

Hi,

My manager (retail) has over the past months been out of town weeks at a time on vacation while not logging off. Same when I took a day off for my nephew's recital. Why do I have to tolerate my manager getting paid in full while actively lounging on a beach? He's about to go on a multiple week hunting trip this fall and he claims he will be fully in charge while away… What can I do? I generally like working there, but this has been getting out of hand. PS I barely make above minimum wage.
