Hi All,
Compared to every other post, I'm probably acting like an entitled brat but I believe in doing what you are paid to do.
Disclaimer; I work in a great workplace and all my colleagues are great, my manager is as well and respectful of my time. I have also done the schedule for the summer (only reason I did it is because I stood to gain by scheduling the shifts around what benefited me the most)
Situation; My manager is asking me to make the schedule for September to December. It's not very complicated (team of 4 people including me) with really only 3 different shifts. It can be done pretty easily.
My only concern is I don't want my manager getting complacent asking me to do aspects of his job, making schedules is the manager's responsibility. Do you think it's even worth saying anything? He and everyone on the team is nice + respectful and I've been here for almost a year and they don't expect of me anything outside the scope of my job. This has been the only incidence (and even then they are asking not demanding).
