I'm a delivery driver. I just finished 2 week quarenteen and being hella sick with covid at home. My 2nd day back I was covering a coworkers locations which obviously I dont have every street in the area memorized so it's more difficult and takes longer. Long story short I was given 175% normal workload, delayed by an incompetent coworker breaking my.equipment, and after communicating all this, I get back and told I've committed basically murder and will have a serious meeting in the morning.
The pure absurdity compounded with a 10 hr driving day had me in a panic attack so I left shaking. Boss had more stuff for me to do but I could barely stand. So ya I'm sure they will fire me tomorrow.
It doesn't matter what i say, boss will do what they want to do. I'll have to fight it somehow which Is hard as I cant afford to lose my job.
The real jab is that boss was super nice in the morning (like ridiculously so) and then boom, flip. What a snake.
