My manager is trying to make me stay at my job despite the fact that I’ve handed in my notice and is stopping at nothing.
I’ve been in hospital for a good few hours now. I’m in recovery and my manager has been messaging, calling, and emailing me to get in touch despite the fact that he knows I’m just out of surgery, not a word about what’s going on with me or am I okay. I overheard my manager in a meeting with other managers saying how if he had his way everyone would be in the office 5 days a week so that he could monitor everyone. He was going around telling colleagues that he was finding my medical issues annoying and refusing any kind of medical evidence that I prepared. Then has the cheek and audacity to say that any other company wouldn’t be as understanding as him.
He also tried to offer under 1000 as a pay rise in order to get me to stay so that tells you how valued I am.
