I work in a small regional office of a financial institution in Europe and have recently discovered that my manager lied about a job they allegedly did in the past. They claim to have worked at one of the large tier1 consulting firms, however upon verifying with that firm via several channels (including their alumni database) they do not exist there nor they ever did. Their role is quite senior and they are named on several financial license documents in the country where our office is based.
Problem: for several reasons I want to leave this firm, our office is quite small (sub 15 ppl), me vs you culture with the manager across the team, there is no hr in our country, don’t really know how to play it.
