Manager that we are not a remote company so I went and found myself one

For some context, I work full time onsite in an office that is not our headquarters but they are about 20 minutes from each other. My job is doing the finances and I communicate with our headquarters remotely while dealing with the team in person at my location. They don’t answer any emails, I have to go up to them and get them to give me answers, they’ll bullshit me in my face but later change what they told me (this is why I like email). Well I got sick and went to work from home for a few days so I don’t get behind on work and I can recover. So I got for a new job with a company going 100% remote indefinitely for a lot more money and less responsibilities.

Fuck these companies with their antiquated policies and micromanaging
