When someone becomes a manager I feel as if they get establishment brain worms. Devoid of reality and any sort of humanity. I have been looking for jobs and multiple times I just decline moving forward in the hiring process as management is mostly brain dead and completely useless. Such questions I ask, example, what is your greatest asset at this company, or how they can personally make me a greater asset overall. No interest in the workers, just filling a position and giving the least in terms of real leadership. Even pointing out in an interview some roles paying the same as other roles with much less responsibility, but management t prefers those who don’t do research. The role of management is to enforce austerity, be the right hand of the oligarchs and crush workers, for a bonus or a paycheck, an incentive to oppress workers further for their own self gratification. Managers are career climbers who never hold those in power accountable but punch down because there is never any accountability from workers. Selling their integrity for a paycheck. Being a manager means you have no courage to step up and demand better for your team. They lack courage and are the reason why many in this country live in poverty and societal issues. When you’re paid enough to sell out, you become the thing you may have once not liked.
