My friend’s company is driving a return to the office 3 days a week starting later this month. They are requiring employees to carry “contact tracing devices” that they say are about the size of a cell phone when they are in the office. It sounds really sus to me. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar to this? Am I right in suspecting that they’re using them for more than contact tracing? They’re definitely using these devices to track time in the office and where you went all day too, right?
