March for International Working Women’s Day in Pittsburgh on 3/6

It will be at Garland Park in East Liberty at 2 pm. We march to honor the workers of the world and specifically working women. We highlight that women’s oppression is held within the oppression of the working class under private property. We support the women in communities that have been hurt by the reactionary attacks against the right to abortion and speak out against the politicians who implemented laws that restrict this right for working and poor women, who are most often Black and Brown women. We rally around how the same system that perpetuates attacks against the right to abortion is the same system that perpetuates police brutality and refuses to hold police accountable, as well as upholds white supremacy on the same note.
