Mauled by Bears. A dream about HR and Management.

I had a dream I was mauled by Bears. In my dream I walked into a job interview. There were three people sitting at a table with clipboards. I sat down across them. I realized I was at a cabin that was more like an open porch. There were no doors or roof. We started the interview and one of them asked, “What is your experience with bears?” I was so confused. He went on to say, “We have issues with bears at times, and we need to know how you are going to handle the bear situation.”. I could barely process what he was saying. Then a small baby bear came wandering by me. I said to the interviewers, “Oh no, if there is a baby bear, the Mom is around! She gonna be pissed off!” The second guy said to me, 'Well, how are you going to solve…

She gonna be pissed off!”

The second guy said to me, 'Well, how are you going to solve this problem??” I got upset and yelled that it was THEIR responsibility, and I am hear to work for them and they should be protecting me.

The Mom bear came charging towards us. I looked at the Managers who were telling me to “sign these forms quick!” And then I got mauled and woke up.

I took me a while to realize what the dream was about. It's about my coworker who died of cancer last week. He died so fast….four months in total from his diagnosis till he passed.

Our last conversation was him telling how our companies HR department was demanding additional FMLA forms or to come back to work.
He had surgery for the first cancer they found, and while recovering they discovered more.

According to management, his first cancer was resolved thru surgery, so the secondary cancers weren't covered by his FMLA any more.

So hey….before you get mauled by a bear, make sure the paperwork is done.

I'm still so angry.
