I live paycheck to paycheck, barely have 2000 dollars saved because life is so incredibly expensive, meaning that if anything bad happens I'm in serious trouble. My entire family is the same: my parents are 75 years old both and have to work here and there despite their retirement, in order to pay the rent and the food yada yada you know the drill.
Basically, even though we're all in good health, we literally own nothing except a couple thousand dollars.
Am I the only one in this situation? I mean, family-wise, or am I an exception?
