me being sick is “sus”

i texted my manager today to say that i won’t be coming in tomorrow and probably not the day after because i’m really sick, and she told me that that’s suspicious and she doesn’t understand how i can call in ahead of time for that. like… with as bad as i am right now, i know i’m not going to be feeling well tomorrow, and i was trying to be nice by letting her know ahead of time. but i won’t do it next time, i guess
