Hey all, I work for an insurance company as a risk adjustment medical coder. I was wondering if anyone knew of any unions for medical billers/coders, and if they don’t exist, how to go about forming one.
I’m brand new to doing anything related to unions so I need a lot of guidance. I’m also relatively new (<5 years) into my industry so I’m not sure if I’m equipped to lead a union. I just notice some things happening at my workplace that having a union, one that does care about the members, would benefit myself and the rest of my team
