Micro managing boss

Hello! I am a manager at JCPenneys for a certain department. And my job requirements are to make the schedule for my team and I, approve time off for them. On Mondays we have a back office day where we do paperwork, schedules, meetings etc. my department gets no hours what’s so ever, when I leave someone else comes in. There is rarely 2 people working at the same time. Because of that I do not get a office day, I have to be on the floor. I currently have been having extreme issues with my General Manager. She is extremely micromanaging. She changes my teams and I schedule constantly. When my team asks for time off I always give them that time off and have coverage. My team is very good and I feel like if they are asking for that time off they should be able to get…

My team is very good and I feel like if they are asking for that time off they should be able to get it off, especially since I have the coverage. She always complains about the time that I’m giving them off and switches their schedule back to that they are working. Even though I have already told them that they can take the time off and took them off the schedule. I work side-by-side my team. So I believe I have the best interest and knowledge of what time I can give them off. It is also in my job requirement. I have also been scheduling myself an hour early every day I work to do back office things since I do not get a office day. A lot of people in the store also do that. She recently told me that I cannot do that and it can only be 30 to 15 minutes before we open. I have spoken to other departments managers at other stores and they all come in a hour early. I explained to her that I have a lot of things I have to do, since I do not get a office day like the rest. She proceeded to tell me that I can do all of that on the floor. It is holidays and I am the only one on the floor in my department. Today I tried making multiple calls, and was forced to hang up multiple times because I had customers walk in that I had to attend. She recently has been sending me emails and I know that’s to keep a paper trail. I do not know what to do anymore. I also got sick recently and she brought up my attendance and threaten me with a corrective. She has not done attendance on anybody in the whole store and everybody has multiple “attendance points” including her. This morning she sent me an email right when I came in, Titled follow up and recap. which is pretty much a written email for a paper trail. She then proceeded to text me multiple times, and when I didn’t respond she texted me 30 minutes later “ are you at the store” It feels like borderline harassment to be honest. She’s making like very uncomfortable and unpleasant. and I don’t feel like I am manager in my department. I honestly do not know what to do anymore I love my job my team and I am good at what I do but she’s making it very unbearable
