Thought about this. I’ve only ever quit a job because of middle management directly above me. When middle management changes and they become a sore thumb in my ass, I leave.
And on top of that, I just realized how unimportant middle management really is. Goodhire states 83% of people from a 3,000 person survey could work without management eating their asses all day.
I think the abolishment of middle management should be a thing for many organizational structures. Too many moving parts.
