Might be losing my job but won’t know till today’s shift.

tl:dr provided below So I'm trying to calm myself down as I cannot afford to lose my job (who can?). I'm a seasonal employee but the company mentions how they'll be hiring after the season's over. Upon hire, I'm an at will employee till my 90 days and was given 3 days of unexcused time off. When calling out where required to inform our managers at least 2 hours prior to that shift. From my understanding and the brief discussion I had with one of my managers, an excused absence is when a doctor's note is provided with my callout. Having that information, anytime I called out it would be roughly 5-4 hours prior to my shift and when calling out I've provided the reason with not much personal information and anytime I've had a doctor's note I have attached a clear photo of it and even offered to send…

So I'm trying to calm myself down as I cannot afford to lose my job (who can?). Having that information, anytime I called out it would be roughly 5-4 hours prior to my shift and when calling out I've provided the reason with not much personal information and anytime I've had a doctor's note I have attached a clear photo of it and even offered to send a scanned copy. Out of the 6 times I called out, I've only received responses to two of those emails, one acknowledging my absence and reminding me I've used up my last unexcused day and another one saying they've never received any of my doctor's notes. I'm confused because why hasn't that been mentioned to me before while on shift? I've spoken with my managers before about my performance and my interest in working full-time so I'd assume, since more then 3 unexcused is a disciplinary action followed by termination, that they'd say “hey do you have any notes we can look at to clear up your absences?”

So I'm confused/frustrated that I'm now finding out that they've never received “anything” from me and when I asked a manager if my employment is terminated they said “The best thing to do is bring your doctor notes and hope for the best”. From what I've seen within the company they don't tell you you're fired over call, text, or email. They wait till your shift starts, then fire you.

Obviously can't lose this job, unsure if I'm losing my job, and if I am this feels like a waste of time I could be using to fill in any gap of unemployment if they choose to fire me. Outside of absences, I do my best to communicate with everyone at my job, I try to meet daily quotas, and the “latest” I've been to work was at the start of my shift on the dot.

tl:dr – Seasonal employee. Used up all my unexcused absence days (3) and provided notes for the rest of my absences (3). Made sure to follow the proper callout procedure. Only received two responses out of the 6 emails and was informed they've never received my notes. Company policy is boot seasonals past 4 days unexcused absence. Manager can't confirm if I'm being fired or not till I show up for today's shift and just said “The best thing to do is bring your doctor notes and hope for the best”.

Current thoughts: It's just silly really. Assuming they've never received any notes from me, why haven't they fired me sooner or do their “goal realization” or whatever they call it? I don't want to lose my job but, forgive me if I sound entitled, this feels disrespectful. Having to wait till I arrive at work just to be told “you're fired” and immediately leave feels silly. Wish me luck? I'll follow up with something after my shift/visit.
