Minimum Wage Job & Asking for Time Off

I work a minimum wage job, my second one. I've been there for around 8 months, and like it okay so far. My family likes to travel during the winter and summer season. I probably should have mentioned it in the interview, but forgot because of Covid, I haven't been able to travel (usually to visit family) in 2 years. He has a habit of not telling me when he books vacation plans like so, so when he told me he booked vacation plans in June, I couldn't do anything about it. I told my boss about the vacation, and (obviously) got a long text back about missing work. I was debating if I should just quit the job altogether, since I'm missing a lot of days/shifts anyway for this vacation, and would have my pay docked (like 50 cents?) because of my absences. I do feel incredibly guilty, but recognize I can't/couldn't do anything about the planning of the vacation since my dad already planned it himself. Advice?

TLDR: Should I quit my minimum wage job if I'm taking a long vacation?
