Hi I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I couldn't think of another subreddit to post in. I work at a clinic that does one specific cosmetic procedure with a lifetime guarantee. I've been here for a little over a month and I'm realizing that I may have been a bit misled. I was told I would get about 36 hours a week and I've been getting 32 and it's not the worst situation but apparently I am unable to work more than 32 hours a week according to scheduling and how out shifts work. I also wasn't told that my clinic would be expanding so we're gonna have another treatment room and be hiring another receptionist for me to work together with. I really liked the idea of working by myself and I really don't want to work with another person. I've told my manager my concerns and she just says “well 32 hours is technically full time!” Or “you're not excited to have some help??”. She's also a new manager that just got hired and we're still having some communication issues.
I guess I'm just trying to ask am I allowed to be upset and ask why I was hired and told I would get 36 hours a week and I can't because of scheduling issues? I already have insurance through them and it took months for me to find a job leadibg up to this one.
I'll probably delete this because of how awful it's written but I'm just pissed right now. TIA
