MIT kicks me (17) and my friend (16) out, what should I do?

I work at a local sit down restaurant with take out. I had started working here after being in the hospital for mental health related injuries, and wanted to make the most out of the rest of my summer by working and being anywhere but my room all day. It was fantastic for the first 2 months — management was great, treated me nice and called me by my preferred name, as I am AFAB Transmale, so I felt very welcome. As stated before, I have disabling mental conditions that cause me to have to take off that day or leave a little early (both with approval from the managers there that day). It started going down hill when the store manager decided to berate me in front of the restaurant for leaving 30 minutes early 'without notice', even though I had asked what I needed to do for closing…

Calling my actions unacceptable, without letting me talk.

I'm minor still, and this is my first job. I'm going to make mistakes. But this week a new Manager In Training was hired, and was with me and friend on Friday.

We had a large rush that she decided to facilitate, as she was a manager. She was barking out orders and yelling at me and my friend to get things out faster than what was humanly possible. I politely say, “with all due respects ma'am, I'm trying to sort things out myself over here”.

I'm frustrated, getting overwhelmed with her harking at me, and when she tells me to take an order out that I knew was clearly wrong she says, “sweetheart I do not need the attitude right now”.

So, me doing my job, I take the order out. The customers say it clearly isn't their order, and I just break down crying in front of them, saying my manager yelled at me to get this out to you guys. That I will be back with the right order.

I get back, I tell her about the error, and she stops, gets really close to my face and asks what her position is. I say a manager, and she responds with, “exactly, get to it and do as I say”.

I have ptsd with people getting in my face as it's what my abusive mother did to me in the past.

Eventually, during the rush, she makes an extra dish by accident, and I ask where it was intended to go. I guess this was the wrong move as she stops, looks at my friend and I, and tells us to leave before we say something we don't mean. Obviously I retort and try to explain we're trying our best to sort out ourselves, but she continued to talk over us. She just silenced us and told us to get out.

We both walk out and im crying, obviously frustrated with her abuse, as my friend comforts me. We go into the neighboring restaurant to just go somewhere, as we aren't allowed back into our work place, and the managers were infuriated at the attitude of the manager towards two minors trying their best.

Long story short, the other manager chalks it up to her “having anxiety” and that my friends tourettes was making her anxious, claiming “his bouncing and loud talking about other things besides work” was not appropriate, not caring about his condition in the slightest.

I don't know exactly what to do moving forward, if I should quit and find a new job, or file a complaint, I don't know, so if you have recommendations please let me know :-: <3
