money ain’t worth time

My brother and I are 6 years apart. Raised in the same community. Raised by the same woman. Fundamentally, I'd say we share the same values: family, hard work, perseverance etc I worked part time evenings and weekends when my kids were little, so I could be at home with them as much as possible. I garden, I can, and I cook from scratch. I quilt, sew and mend. If you can DIY it, I have DY done it. Anything to save a buck. Money has always been tight, but we have just enough. He took a different approach. He works long hours, away from home so his family could have a better life than he had. They have a beautiful house, take nice vacations, his kids have many expensive hobbies. We were on the phone chatting about life in general and the topic came up. I says to him…
