I live in Alberta, working in the road construction industry. My now ex boss asked if I wanted to do the Foreman's paperwork. I replied with, “more work, more money” to say the least I am now fired 🤣 or “layed off” guess I'll see when I get my roe. Glad I had plenty of calls from other companies and locked in a job the same day with way more perks. I didn't realize how hard it was to just say no to a raise and carry on.
