I haven’t been this mad in a while. I just found out about this today because I do not live with her and she called me crying.
So she works as a waitress and her manager(the owner) schedules her almost everyday after school and on the weekends. On top of that he makes her serve alcohol which is illegal. She has told him she can’t work everyday but he still does it.
She told him weeks ago she couldn’t work yesterday (Monday), but he still scheduled her. She didn’t go in and he told her if he finds out she was at the high school soccer game there would be a consequence. Most of their servers are high schoolers so she’s scared he’s going to ask them since she did go.
Finally, she told him she was quitting today and he told her that she has to come in to work this week or she will have a bad record when she applies somewhere else and she has no other choice unless she never wants to find a job again.
I really want to contact him and tell him off, but I want her to learn to handle all of this.
