My new boss has been consistently calling and texting me on my days off to tell me things that could easily be written down and left on my desk or emailed to me for me to pick up when I am in.
It is really beginning to bug me to the point that I have been turning my personal cellphone off during my days off. The other day she told me to keep my phone on and answer it when she’s calls.
I explained to her that I can’t always answer my phone as I am busy with my children and their activities when I am not at work and it’s not always appropriate for me to answer (eg in the middle of a pre schoolers dance lesson).
I don’t think she gets it as she is very old and has never had children.
I think I will just keep ignoring her on my days off so she gets the hint.

Edit- This is a 15 hour a week social media position with NO responsibility or anything dramatic. Is so easy I can do it with my eyes closed.
