I've been having issues at work. I'm very much in the corporate world and it's already been an issue that I don't drink. Nobody knows this because it's none of thier business but I often get judged or asked “why?”
When I skip out, I usually reply. “Because I don't want to”
It's no secret that I despise this place and very much do my work and leave.
Today we had a company lunch, also dumb but I was getting water when my boss whose 60+ comes and rubs my back asking “how are we doing?”
I just froze and said “okay, Thanks for lunch” I'm 30 so I'm fully aware that corporate America doesn't see sexual assault and boomers just think doing this was being friendly.
I just had to get it all out. I can't do anything because it's my job. Just seeing what you all think.
