My boss and her contradictions taking tolls on my mind.

Hello, I've never been one to bitch and complain but I feel that I need to get this off my chest So I work in a select service hotel (business hotel to be exact) as a front desk agent. Not only do I do the functions of an agent but I also do the functions that atleast 4 other individuals do in a full-service hotel do. I charge people for things they wanna buy from a mini market that we have, store luggage, answer phone calls and over night duty audit, in other words I'm also the bellman, store cashier, phone operator and night auditor and mind you my check is that of a front desk agent being around 10 bucks the hour. At first I really didn't mind cause at first work environment was nice. However this changed the day my old manager left and the new one came…

So I work in a select service hotel (business hotel to be exact) as a front desk agent. At first I really didn't mind cause at first work environment was nice. However this changed the day my old manager left and the new one came into office/powe/etc. My old manager was almost like a gift from God here being 100% honest.

However the new one which was her assistant her management skills are god awful.

For once every day she contradicts herself, everything to her is wrong, when you really need her she never picks up the phone and if I go personally to get her not only she get annoyed but also takes half a century to do something, she sends emails asking me about things that i have already included in my passdowns ad in why I had taken certain actions when the only thing she needed to do was read the guest reservation. Best example was a guest a pre registered cause her flight was delayed just in case she arrived after night audit, when I wrote my passdown and send it I mentioned and even said it to the person who was relieving me off duty, it seems she didn't read it and send an angry email. I had to correct her in all the emails she said me saying that what I should do was already done taking screenshots and sending them. One time she got mad cause she reinstated a reservation of a room that already had checked out and she was telling me that the reservations had a so call alert that said to not do so, I open the reservation and showed her it had no such alert. And today latest one was that our system is experiencing a new glitch membership levels where they wore showing as lower levels I had my second incident of it and I was the only one of the employees that noticed that it existed I asked my guest if he could send me a screenshot of his app so I can have it as evidence of the incedent cause the system is not able to be corrected and I wanted to make sure that I could get him his benefit, guest said that it was no issue and thank me for watching out for him. My manager said that the engagement was atrocious and I belittled him for that and she insisted it was so even of the interaction of the guest and I went.

Honestly I feel all this has taken a toll on my mind and I was hoping to atleast push it until I got to little over a year since I got there and also get my Christmas bonus. But this rate I don't think I can.
