I work for a non-profit in Massachusetts and recently my co-worker was fired. My boss is angry with me because I asked a fellow coworker why this employee was terminated. She said it is illegal to give out that information. I call bullshit, but I haven’t been able to find any laws about it. She also laughed at me when I asked her if I was next. Now I will be spending all my work time finding another job.
