Hello everyone
I work for a medical center, I float around to clinics that need extra help. When my manager hired me he told me I would be able to stay clocked in on my way home from clinics that are far from where I live. To get money for travel time. Well today he calls me while I'm at work, and tells me why was I off late last week, when I should be off at 430pm. I said I clocked out when I reached town at the hospital, you told me I could do that during my interview. THEN HE BLUNTLY LIES TO ME OVER THE PHONE. And says I never said that. I'm like…. okay we'll are you going to give me mileage pay then, he says no. I said well how am I supposed to pay for gas, he goes it's part of the job. So I go ok anything else he goes no. So I say okay bye. NOW when he hired me he told me I could stay clocked in on my way back from clinics, and get mileage, both of those things he said to me. I’m so mad that he made me sound like I was doing something out of order when I wasn’t.
NOW he lies to me over the phone at work? And says he never said that? What the hell?
Any advice on what I need to do about this? I truly just want to tell him fuck off I quit, but I need the money for now, but I want to do something that shows him he can kiss my ass… in a professional manner of course
