I work as a Production Engineer supporting a specific production area and I've barely been there 6 months. My boss (sort of boss, it's more of a dotted line situation), the Production Manager has been there for years. I'm on £37k a year, my boss is on £25k a year. We're both on Salary and do the same hours.
I find this absolutely staggering considering her position. To the point where I actually want to support her getting a proper raise.
Bit of a weird situation as the roles are reversed a bit here, but there's clearly hints of exploitation and sexism.
Average Production Manager salary in the UK is £40k.
Anyone else seen this happen?
