My boss – the VP – got fired by the CEO of the troubled startup I work for. Our team is being blamed for the poor sales of our products. This is clearly only a fraction of the actual cause and the CEO is looking for a scapegoat and a silver bullet to fix our poor revenue situation.
The VP was relatively new and kind of an abusive asshole so the overall feeling on the team is relief. They did have a lot of good ideas but overall we’re feeling ok about it.
I’m posting this here because my overwhelming feeling when I learned the news of his firing was “good at least one asshole boss can get what’s coming to them”.
