I work in a long term care facility and in my state an RN is needed every shift. We have 3 day RNs, 0 evening RNs, and 1 night RN (me). I sent my 2 week resignation to her over email, left a hard copy in her mailbox, and texted her to notify of these two ways she can find it.
And I haven’t heard anything. This place is gonna be screwed. I feel bad for the residents but the administration treated me like crap and worked me so hard that I had a mental breakdown and needed a 1 week inpatient psych stay. So I’m over it.
