My boss hasn’t been paying overtime

I’ve been working for a moving company and recently had noticed I never get overtime and when some of my coworkers brought it up to the boss, the boss realized his mistake. He had apparently been doing something wrong with the gusto payroll app and therefore none is us had ever gotten overtime. To claim that overtime now he wants us to manually go back over every week we have worked and calculate out how much he owes us, is that normal? He also claims the weeks are Wednesday to Wednesday but when I check my pay stubs and compare them to the hours I have clocked it looks as if it’s just Sunday to Sunday however I’m less worried about this. Please let me know if my boss legally needs to be calculating out my over time or if I should have to.
