My boss at a small cafe hired “customers” to eavesdrop on our conversations and got upset when he heard we were talking shit. He's now firing people because his feelings are hurt. I had already given my notice but he told me not to come in for my last 3 scheduled shifts, apparently he will still pay me for them but we will see about that. I only know all of this because he told our 18 year old intern and asked him to keep it secret.
