i work in at a daycare and most of my coworkers have children (i don’t). because of the hurricane, all of the surrounding school districts were closed so my coworkers couldn’t come in. by the end of the day yesterday, me and my boss were the only people who were coming in with about 40 kids planning to come. everyone stood up for me saying that it’s not fair to leave me alone with all these kids. it’s also illegal btw but that’s a different story. anyway, she told everyone that they had to come in from 7:15-1:15 or else they would lose their pto. i hate this job.
