Had to deal with this BS yesterday. I work at a Panera Bread (worst place ever, looking for another job, etc) and early into my shift, my boss tells me to go sweep the parking lot for trash. Not something my shift does (I was on dishwashing) but I went and swept the lot as best as I could. Well, about half an hour before my shift is over, my boss calls me over for a meeting (aka ur fucked) where they tell me that I didn’t sweep the parking lot very well. They THEN proceed to show me the 7 photos of trash hidden behind and underneath bushes around the entire lot, saying that this proves “I have no pride in my work” and “I act like I don’t care”
They write me up for this, and told me that it’s my “last chance”
I told them to their face that they didn’t say anything about the bushes, so how was I supposed to know to check them? They acted like I was the biggest fucking idiot they’d ever seen.
TLDR: Fuck Panera and managers who can’t give proper instructions.
