My boss is something else sometimes…

(Kinda a vent, pls delete if not allowed) I have two clerk coworkers in my office. There is one who is more of an errand boy than anything. This morning, my boss called me to ask me to find out where he was. First, I text him bc I knew if he wasn't in yet (he is always early) it was likely a pto day, so I text him. Well, my boss didn't like that he got very aggressive and demanded I call him bc he doesn't like text messaging… So I called my poor coworker who answered after a few rings to tell me he has today and tomorrow approved as off. I have two clerk coworkers in my office. There is one who is more of an errand boy than anything. This morning, my boss called me to ask me to find out where he was.

First, I text him bc I knew if he wasn't in yet (he is always early) it was likely a pto day, so I text him.

Well, my boss didn't like that he got very aggressive and demanded I call him bc he doesn't like text messaging… So I called my poor coworker who answered after a few rings to tell me he has today and tomorrow approved as off. When my boss came back again, and I told him he was off, he got angry at me.

He does this whenever anyone is slightly late, or has an APPROVED day off (he is the owner of our company and is a part of the approval process).

This has to be the 7th time something like this has happened since I started here at the very end of April

(He complains nobody wants to work anymore too, lol so many people act like this at jobs. If I could do anything worthwile I wouldnt work for a company that abuses my time either lol…)

Oh, he also texts us after hours/on weekends to demand we reply to him when he messages us
