Never did I think to post anything here but I guess now it is time for that.
Note: I live in Northern Europe, there are unions and healthcare is good. My English is not so good, trying my best explaining.
I'm in a summer job, working as a janitor and working with other janitors as well. At the moment I'm in flu, not C-19, and had my ankle sprained in the first week. Before that I was in prepping week, that is paid. The firm I'm working at is a big firm.
My boss is kind of interesting case. They blame others, rants occasionally, yells for small things, doesn't pay on time and, especially today, says “you should be in work even if you are sick”. Not good boss, definitely a person that unmotivates worker immediately. Also the customers doesn't like them at all for their personality.
As I said earlier, I'm sick at the moment in flu, and had to skip today's work day for my nauseous feeling. I have been working as a sick person for 2 weeks as well. The boss knows this. Yet does think that being sick is just “being sick” and thinks that you are still capable working for 9 hours.
Right now looking for a job suitable for my education field, that will pay me better and in time. Reported my boss as well to the firm, at the moment I don't care if they kick me out. They still has to pay me for my work.
