I checked my schedule online a few days ago and saw that next week I was only scheduled for two days. This was obviously a mistake because I'm a full-time employee, but I celebrated anyway because I haven't had days off in a long time.
I get to work today and my boss tells me she's sorry she messed up the schedule and that she'll write in the rest of the days. I said I was excited about my vacation and she told me I don't have any vacation days and since I'm full-time I am required to work 40 hours every week. She can't make me work those days can she? It was her mistake and I'm OK with making less money for that week.
I've been applying to other places recently and I'm hoping to get out of here soon, and I was really looking forward to next week.
