I had to omit some things and change names to try and cover my identity until i can get in touch with a union rep. I work for one of the largest MSO Cannabis companies in the country. Generally, it’s a company of chads, we are not treated well whatsoever and heavily underpaid while the execs make half a billion a year. Out of the blue we get an email today stating:
“Our newest program implemented is the EthicsPoint hotline. Starting today, the EthicsPoint hotline is available to all omitted employees. As always, we encourage employees to bring forward workplace concerns, questions, and suggestions, however, there are times when not everyone feels comfortable approaching their manager or HR. This is where the EthicsPoint hotline comes into play.
The Ethics Points hotline is a phone and web-based reporting system that is managed by an outside company named NAVEX. “
So being the anti worker that I am, a quick google search of “navex union busting” and a plethora of articles about how this company was also employed by amazon and delta.
I am contacting my local UFCW chapter tomorrow morning.
This screams volumes to me that they are TERRIFIED.
