I work overnight/graveyard at a homeless youth shelter. It’s a mess here for a lot of reasons, most of them management related. We can’t keep a staff and there’s always some scandal at our main office. I’ve been keeping my head down working for 16/hr$ with a BS in psych and human services because I need the experience to move forward. A case management job came up and I hopefully applied. I’m more than qualified and do great work because I love these kids. Also, i only have 3 coworkers…I found out that today that the job was given to one of my coworkers that didn’t even apply. They have no degree, no more experience, it’s just favoritism. More than that I never even got an email acknowledging my application. No interview. No feedback. Just surprise we didn’t even think of you! Last straw I’m done with this place
