“We love spending time together”

I applied to a company who on their website quote something along the lines of “our office is so much fun, it's just like home, but better”. This was already a red flag tbh, but the job sounded really interesting and challenging, so I thought, let's just give it a go. I'm going to turn them down, because I would like to pick my own friends. Also their offer is a low ball offer. I rather have money than “fun” activities to participate in. Please tell me I'm not being too sensitive….
