i’m literally just typing this because i’ve been thinking about it all day and i just need to rant about it.
my boss only comes in once a week, Tuesday mornings and he’s usually only there for a couple hours. i always bring a big coffee with me, and i drink a gallon of water a day so i pee a lot… like honestly i pee probably once an hour. so this morning i use the restroom, walk outside, and get immediately back to work. my boss approaches me and goes “hey, are you okay?” i looked at him confused and said “yeah.. why?” and he says “we just noticed you go to the bathroom, like, a LOT. and we just wanted to make sure you were okay”
?????? what?????
first of all who is we?? is this a thing? have all my coworkers been talking about my frequent bathroom breaks?? also, what is that phrasing? “are you okay?” like what if i wasn’t okay? if i had explosive diarrhea, would i have to disclose that with you??
it honestly made me so uncomfortable i felt like i was gonna cry, and i was just waiting for him to leave all morning.
