My boss said the n word and I’m scared of retaliation for reporting her

She was talking about some teenage customers who thought it was funny to say it to one of my coworkers and while recounting the story she said it herself. I started shaking and went to a friend and then went to HR anonymously. I’m really scared I’ll be retaliated against because I’m an at will employee. I’m trying to move out of my abusive home and if I don’t have a job I can’t move out and god god god I’m so fucking scared
