My boss just bought a new house and is completely remodeling the entire thing. So we're talking about at least $800k so far in purchasing and remodel. I get it, it's her business & money. Good for her for buying her dream home and making a project out of it. I'll add she also sends her kids to private school, is a member of our country, etc. Basic rich people shit. But us employees are all middle class folks that have been coming to work complaining about our high electricity bills and gas prices this year. Instead of making up for the extreme costs of living, she literally comes to work to COMPLAIN about how expensive the floors in her new home are going to cost. It is such a slap in the face. Compared to a lot of corporate places, I really do have a decent job and seldom have issues other than pay, but her disrespectful comments about something so privileged is about to send me over the edge.
