I work at this restraunt job and it’s pretty hard work . I make 9 an hour plus 2% tips , so it’s really around 10-11 an hour . I’ve thought about quitting but it’s in the area and i don’t drive ( I’m 16 and haven’t got my license ) so I’m able to bike to work and the restraunt is a nice restraunt so sometimes it’s pleasant to work at . But anyways someone brought pasteries in this morning . It was really nice of them and there were these small lemon muffins . I was two hours into my shift then got a muffin . My boss is normally pretty nice but I guess she was stressed today and she said no you need to work and grabbed the muffin from my hands as I was about to eat it and threw it away. It definitely would’ve taken me like 15 seconds to finish as it was those little muffins .
Edit: I’ve also never gotten a break . I think i am entitled to one 30 min one every 4 hours since I’m a minor but idk I’ve never got the courage to ask .
