So today I woke up with a fever of 102 and just feeling absolutely awful and getting 0hrs of sleep because of it. So I go to my friends house to pick up some 15 minute test panels. And what does the panel say, I have covid, 2 lines one being faded but the test saying that even if its faded it still counts. So finding out this information I send all the relevant information, pictures my temperature all of it to my boss. And my boss claims that theirs only one line on the test. Thinking that I may be crazy I send the picture off to about everyone I know. Everyone states theirs two lines. My boss tells me that theirs only 1 line and I need to come into work. I claim that theirs clearly two lines and send him a picture of the panel again. I ask him if he’s serious or messing with me, no reply. So I decide fuck this guy I’m bringing my test with me. So as soon as I get into his office he gets visibly irritated with me. Stating are you serious, are you serious. And I simply reply yes you told me to come in, “hes currently in his office with his manager”. Embarrassed he kicks me out of his office.
This whole situation has got me extremely irritated and I was curious if this kind of behavior breaks any laws or CDC guide lines? If I brought this info to Hr would they even take it seriously? Or am I being a big baby? Thank you
