Just started at a landscaping business two months ago. The guy who owns it (just another micromanaging capitalist with more greed than people skills), has a card for buying grass seed, equipment, etc. And twice now, the local agriculture store has rejected it, first time for a $72 bag of grass seed, today for a $3,200 impact driver (gas powered tamper).
The kicker? My coworkers had to pay for this shit out of pocket both times! The spiel is that they'll get reimbursed, and that the boss' wife (the landscaping company's accountant) just forgot to pay the bill.
Whole thing seems fishy.
Tl/Dr; is my bosses business card getting rejected, and my coworkers having to pay for work supplies themselves as fucked up as it sounds ?
